Let’s Go Stable’s Ready Dancer (c, 2, More Than Ready–Sweettrickydancer, by Green Dancer) took play to be off as the 2-1 chalk in an always productive Travers Day maiden to improve on a debut third to subsequent SP Paynes Prairie (Tale of Ekati) at Belmont July 4 and a runner-up effort behind the GI Hopeful S.-bound Sticksstatelydude (First Dude) over this course and six-furlong distance Aug. 1. Sent along to do the chasing from second as 9-1 second-timer Condominium (Tiznow) cut out the running, Ready Dancer took dead aim on that one in upper stretch and needed most of the final two furlongs to do it, but edged away in the waning strides to take it by a hard-fought length. Lifetime Record: 3-1-1-1. O-Let’s Go Stable. B-St George Farm LLC & Spurrmont LLC (KY). T-Todd Pletcher.
